JOB SUMMARY:
The Lead Materials Management Technician is responsible for the operations of the supply warehouse to include: inventory maintenance, receiving from vendors and shippers, sorting, tagging, delivery of warehouse goods to departments, pulling and filling pick orders for delivery, and sorting/prioritizing mail and packages for delivery.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:
- Responsible for delivering orders within 24 hours of receipt.
- Responsible for daily restocking, as well as assisting with periodic department-wide inventory.
- Check in Cardinal/Medline freight and restock freight in warehouse.
- Responsible for pulling orders and MSRs.
- Restock daily supplies from warehouse into clean room.
- Review and replace supplies in clean room due to expiration.
- Restock crash cart quarterly or as needed.
- Maintain Stores phone for emergency orders and questions.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, including a clean/neat appearance.
- Must be able to perform all duties in accordance with all UTHCT, state, and federal guidelines.
- Required to operate hand trucks, and all other freight handling equipment within UTHCT and OSHA standards.
- May support other Materials Management positions by performing various backup duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
