Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for high-level effective and efficient program support of the overall day-to-day programmatic operations of the Master of Health Administration (MHA) Program in the Department of Population Health Leadership and Analytics (PHLA). This includes planning, coordinating, and administration of activities related to recruiting, enrolling, and supporting students in the MHA Program, and student advising as authorized by the MHA Director. This position provides support to the Department Chair, Associate Chair and MHA Program Director and coordinates across departmental lines to ensure that the MHA program runs smoothly and efficiently.
Major Responsibilities / Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Handle administrative functions to support the MHA Program.
- Keep records and prepare reports from a variety of materials.
- Create and maintain MHA course schedule each semester, in synchrony with other department academic program semester schedules.
- Manage day-to-day program operations of the MHA program under the guidance of the Program Director to assure compliance with institutional policies and procedures as well as applicable federal and state laws and regulations and accreditor standards to include specialty accreditation bodies.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage student recruitment efforts for the MHA Program and work closely with the Graduate School on various issues including, but not limited to, student applications, scholarship award processes, etc.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new students.
- Coordinate the timely review of student applications, responses, and the dissemination of information to potential students.
- Maintain and monitor program level metrics related to retention, attendance, completion, and placement outcomes for the program to meet the campus, organizational, and accreditation benchmarks.
- Administratively support the development of degree plans and schedule student meetings with faculty mentors for advisement and career coaching.
- Develop and coordinate plans and schedules for course sequencing.
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, and orientation efforts for new students.
- Serves as liaison to Academic Affairs and Student Affairs.
- Prepare, update, and renew affiliation agreements, program letters of agreement, and business associate agreements with other programs as needed.
- Develops and maintains alumni records and periodically follow-up with alumni.
- As needed, fill in for MPH Program Coordinator.
- As needed, assist with program coordinator-type functions of PHLA academic programs on the UTT Main campus.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in public health or other relevant health professions degree.
Two (2) years in office management and/or administrative support including basic accounting or relevant experience coordinating other academic programs.
May accept a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education / Experience:
Master's degree in public health or other relevant health professions degree.
Three (3) years of experience in office management and/or administrative support including basic accounting or relevant experience coordinating other academic programs.
