To coordinate and directly support the administrative and business management activities of a department or large division.
Job Duties :
This position is responsible for a multitude of critical functions within the Department of Pediatrics which are listed below :
- Serve as the Department of Pediatrics CME Coordinator (Grand Rounds) and assists with visiting professorships.
- Maintain faculty calendars / meetings.
- Process reimbursements for faculty and mid-level providers in the division of Pediatric Behavioral Health, Gastroenterology, Hematology / Oncology & Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU).
- Submit PO & Non-PO vouchers in POWER (travel & entertainment).
- Submit monthly additional pay for Gastroenterology.
- Serve as KRONOS Timekeeper for Pedi Behavioral Health, Gastroenterology, Hematology / Oncology, & PICU
- Assist faculty with medical staff reappointments.
- Update division on-call schedules.
- Enter & update clinic schedules in QGenda & confirm schedules in AMCOM.
- Schedule monthly division meetings and record minutes.
- Maintain Division inventory.
- Submit procurement supply orders for assigned divisions.
- Maintain faculty CME, malpractice insurance certificates, medical license, and certifications.
- Maintain divisional faculty M&O professional development accounts.
- Maintain & Update faculty CV’s & Biosketch.
- Maintain records retention.
- Sort & distribute mail.
- Assist other administrative support staff when needed.
- Other miscellaneous tasks assigned by faculty & mid-level staff.
Salary Range : Commensurate with experience.
