What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Analyst (Mostly Remote / Local) - Human Resource Compensation position at University of Texas Medical Branch?
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, and 3 years of Compensation or Human Resources experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Healthcare and / or executive compensation experience.
- Expert functional user experience in one of the following PeopleSoft 9.1. Components Desired : Core HR, Query, and ePerformance.
Job Summary :
Provides specialized guidance and support of compensation-related operations. Communicates and provides guidance on compensation services, initiatives, and programs to HR consultants and customers. Participates in the management of daily compensation activities including the development, implementation, and administration of compensation policies, programs, and practices.

Work Schedule :
This position is mostly remote, however, the individual must be readily available to travel to attend meetings, and other work-related in-person activities as needed. Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and also as needed on occasion.
