Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Ambulatory Care Clinic
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Ambulatory Care Clinic at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. As a valuable member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive patient care and treatment under the supervision of a physician.
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing or a recognized field of science for Physician Assistants. You should also possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse with approval to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or a current PA licensure with Certification from NCCPA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides primary health care services in a clinical setting under the supervision and direction of a primary care physician
- Orders and interprets diagnostic and laboratory studies
- Develops and establishes treatment plans in accordance with established protocols of the direction of the supervising physician
- Maintains accurate, legible, and confidential records
