Job Summary:
We are seeking candidates for teaching positions at the School of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS), specifically in the subfields of data science, artificial intelligence, and computer science.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach CIS courses, including ITCS 131 - Introduction to Computer Science, ITCS 230 - Algorithms Design and Analysis, and others.
- Collaborate with colleagues in UC Online and School of CIS and throughout the university.
- Adapt course materials using departmental syllabus templates, required text(s), and other resources.
- Provide regular feedback on student work and maintain clear records in iLearn (Blackboard) and Workday.
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Student-focused teaching experience addressing the needs of all learners.
- Ongoing professional development and strong communication skills.
- Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience developing online courses in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or related fields.
