We are seeking a highly qualified academic instructor to join our faculty team at the University of the Cumberlands. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for teaching CIS courses in data science, artificial intelligence, and computer science.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and teach CIS courses, including ITCS 131 - Introduction to Computer Science, ITCS 230 - Algorithms Design and Analysis, and others.
- Collaborate with colleagues in UC Online and School of CIS and throughout the university.
- Adapt course materials using departmental syllabus templates, required text(s), and other resources.
- Provide regular feedback on student work and maintain clear records in iLearn (Blackboard) and Workday.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Student-focused teaching experience addressing the needs of all learners.
- Ongoing professional development and strong communication skills.
