As a member of the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Program Director will play a vital role in shaping the future of nurse anesthesia education. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality curriculum, leading clinical and didactic evaluations, and preparing students for pre-clinical orientation. A strong background in nursing practice, leadership, and education is essential for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a master's or doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, along with at least 5 years of CRNA clinical experience and 3 years of CRNA teaching and leadership experience. Experience with program and curriculum development is highly desirable. Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is necessary.
