The Parking Services Liaison enforces traffic and parking regulations, assists in special events, and reports all irregularities, emergencies, or suspicious activity to the University Police Department. The Parking Services Liaison will report to the University Police Lieutenant.

Description Of Job Duties
- Patrol campus issuing citations for violations to the UIW Traffic & Parking Regulations.
- Deploy cones to block off spaces or parking areas as needed for various events and special requests.
- Assist students, faculty and staff with vehicle issues.
- Assist UIW PD with parking control; this may include sporting events, university hosted events, or any events designated by the university police department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to be courteous yet firm with the public.
- Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and NCAA .

Required Work Experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and use of the internet to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Must have a valid driver license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW .
- Monday through Friday 7am to 12:30pm.
- Monday through Friday 9am to 2:30pm.
- Monday through Friday 11:30am to 5pm.
- Some Saturdays during “home” football game schedule and Light the Way.
- No more than 5.5 hours worked per day (29 hours per week max).
- Work hours will only be during student Spring and Fall Semesters.
- Ability to push/pull equipment/load jumper cables/up to 50l.
- Ability to walk and stand for an extend period of time.
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather.
- Ability to regularly move about campus.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Alertness; tact; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
