Position Summary
The student assistant assists with the Athletic Training program and faculty within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences. The student assistant reports to the Clinical Education Coordinator.
The primary work location for this position is at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, Saidoff Center campus, located at 9160 Guilbeau, San Antonio, Texas 78250.

Essential Functions
- Assist with recruitment activities.
- Assist with labs as needed.
- Maintain inventory of athletic training supplies.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in the lab and classroom.
- Prepare and execute social media posts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Education
Must be current student with the School of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Required Work Experience
None.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSAT student preferred.
- Some experience with social media for an organization.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
None.
Work Hours
General availability during normal business hours, 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening or weekend work may be requested for special events.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
