Primary Purpose and Essential Functions | The University of the Pacific, Benerd College Stockton campus seeks clinical supervisors to supervise student teachers and intern teachers on a part-time basis for students in the Teacher Education Program. Our current part-time clinical supervisors are drawn from regional expertise in teaching and leadership, and offer a wealth of practitioner-based expertise to our students. We are looking for credentialed supervisors for the following subject matter content:
Clinical supervisors are part-time, non-tenure-track employees, contracted via mutually-signed offer letters, to supervise specific students during specific semesters (specific dates) as outlined in the offer letter. All part-time faculty are expected to perform the following duties:

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Travel required to various school sites where students and interns are placed. Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods. For online meetings: the successful applicant would be required to have the necessary equipment (computer and internet access) to perform the job responsibilities and would be responsible for the appropriate ergonomics of their work environment. Valid driver's license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University's fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record. |
Hiring Range | $30 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
