Primary Purpose | To maintain the safety of all patrons at the Chris Kjeldsen Memorial Pool. As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility is the safety and education of guests in, on, and around the water. Lifeguards will enforce all rules, regulations, policies and procedures; perform water rescues and administer first aid; maintain recreational grounds, buildings, areas and equipment; resolve complaints; provide excellent customer service; and perform related work as required. |

Specific duties include:
Lifeguards have many secondary responsibilities. At no time should any secondary duties interfere with or intrude upon a lifeguard's primary duty of patron surveillance. Secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Hiring Range | $16.50 - $18.00 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
