University of the People (UoPeople) is a tuition-free, accredited online university that serves students who might otherwise be barred from a college education by reason of geography, culture, work, family, and / or finances.
The university has an immediate need for bilingual Arabic / English course developers for the following introductory college level areas / courses :
- Humanities – Introduction to Philosophy
- Social and Behavioral Sciences – Introduction to Psychology and Introduction to Sociology
- Mathematics – Introduction to Statistics
- Natural Sciences and Technology – Introduction to Biology
- Writing – Composition, communications, and / or technical writing
Position Description and Responsibilities :
Works closely with the Program Director and Instructional Designer and is responsible for the design, development, assessment, and evaluation of courses. Specifically, through :
Course Developers are paid $750 USD per developed course.
