Job Description:
Under the supervision of an OTR/L facilitates individual and group interventions to rehabilitate persons with sensorimotor, cognitive and psychosocial impairments through meaningful occupations.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Associate's Degree from an accredited college.
2. Must maintain current licensure from Ohio Board of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers.
3. Basic hand splinting skills required.
4. Maintains the Standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association regarding treatment procedure and professional ethics.
5. Obtains/maintains CPR Certification from the American Heart Association prior to the completion of probationary period. American Red Cross CPR Certification is acceptable for hire.
6. Passes annual safety test.
7. Achieves competencies for assigned work area as dictated by director (i.e., age specific, suctioning, aseptic technique).
