DutiesAttending weekly lectures (Thursdays 3 : 00-5 : 00pm in person); grading, tabulating and tracking grades; invigilating tests and exams; holding office hours for academic counselling of students. Minimum Qualifications Background in Art History including historical and geographical breadth as relevant to the course material. This course will explore the presence of women in the world of art by examining the role of women as creators, as subjects, as collectors, and as patrons. The course will consider these conceptual functions within various geographic contexts including Italy, France, England, Spain, and the Netherlands, covering a period from ca. 1300 to the 17th century. The course will look at various media such as illuminated manuscripts, paintings, tapestries, ceramics, jewellery & lace, and prints & drawings. Preferred Qualifications Postdoctoral Fellow or Graduate Student in Art History is preferred.Relevant CriterionPrevious experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
