Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five years of professional experience in Compensation or Benefits, or Total Rewards.
Responsibilities:
Benefits Responsibilities:
- Analyze file feed errors with vendors and internal service providers; ensure accurate file feed processing
- Support the day-to-day operations of benefits programs and identify areas for process improvement.
- Conduct benefit audits to mitigate undue risk and cost
- Support special (one-time) projects designed to optimize benefits administration and solutions
- Provide guidance and support on escalated benefits-related questions and issues.
- Identify opportunities for more effective collaboration with the (HR shared services) Employee Experience Team.
- Provide support in coordination and execution of the annual enrollment process.
Compensation Responsibilities:
- Support leaders in the planning and tracking of forward-looking compensation initiatives.
- Maintain a client portfolio within the UUHC business and/or service lines, providing compensation consultation and support to leaders.
- Conduct position evaluations, market pricing, pay consistency reviews and other compensation analyses in support of assigned client group.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain job descriptions.
- Analyze market trends and recommend competitive compensation strategies for assigned client groups.
- Review and recommend updates to salary structures, ensuring competitive market positioning.
- Conduct pay parity audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.

- Strong knowledge of compensation and/or benefits principles and practices.
- Experience translating project objectives into executable tasks.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various levels of management.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and Compensation.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
