- Bridging workforce gaps by aligning SWSIE’s innovation pipeline with industry workforce needs, as identified in the Year 1 Workforce Landscape Analysis Report, while also leading follow-up analyses to refine workforce market trends, quantify skills gaps, and forecast impact for priority industries, regions, and job sectors.
- Enhancing strategic engagement by strengthening partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and regional stakeholders to drive workforce development initiatives.
- Operational execution by supporting project coordination, marketing efforts, and workforce-related program delivery while contributing to early-stage impact tracking and ROI assessment for workforce initiatives.
Responsibilities This role will ensure workforce initiatives remain strategically connected to SWSIE’s technology and translation efforts while addressing industry skills gaps identified in the Year 1 Workforce Landscape Analysis Report. Additionally, this position will help advance SWSIE’s workforce mission through thought leadership, participation in workforce and sustainability forums, and ongoing analysis of workforce trends. Minimum Qualifications Requires a minimum of a Master’s or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline, or Bachelor’s or equivalent degree, plus at least 2 years of post-bachelor’s work experience in a role that is similar to that of a Research Assistant.
