What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant II - Washroom position at University of Vermont Medical Center?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position supports the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions. The Lab Assistant's main duties include filling supply orders and cleaning lab equipment by following procedures that ensure sterility. Attention to detail is a must. There is no lab testing performed with this position.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Must meet requirements for level I and have at least 1 year of Laboratory experience.
SPECIAL NOTE:
This position requires a rotating holiday schedule. Weekends are not required. Great position for someone looking for steady part-time hours, no evenings or weekends except an occasional holiday if it falls on a weekday.
