What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at University of Vermont Medical Center?
CLINIC CURRENTLY RECRUITING:
- Women's REI 20 hours a week, Monday - Friday mornings, 7:30 - 11:30
PLEASE NOTE: This is a PART TIME position. For a 20 hour a week position there is a 1k hiring bonus paid out over one year for individuals new to UVMHN.
This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required.
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required for a Medical Assistant II. Those lacking patient care experience will be considered at the Medical Assistant I level.
