What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Specialty Progressive Care Unit position at University of Vermont Medical Center?
Unit Description: As a nurse in our 32-bed surgical telemetry unit, you will be focused on providing high quality, patient and family centered care. Our primary population includes patients who require cardiothoracic surgery (post-CABG, valve replacement, pulmonary surgery), vascular surgery (lower limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, amputation), and urology (prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, continuous bladder irrigation). In our single patient rooms, we care for a diverse range of surgical and medical services requiring a progressive level of care.
On-call: Not required.
Incentives: $20K RN Sign-On Bonus for full-time (pro-rated for part-time).
