Area Specific Responsibilities :
- Represent the Department of Recreation at resource fairs, student activities, etc.
- Contribute dynamic content for various platforms to include social media, photography, and video.
- Proofreading and strong writing skills.
- Contribute consistently to Marketing Editorial Calendar by researching, writing, and collaborating with student and professional staff.
- Participate in weekly marketing team meetings.
- Ability to competently, responsibly use social media to articulate specific information in multiple forums to a range of audiences.
- Strong writing skills for various platforms to include blog and social media platforms.
- Work independently and dependably in a deadline-driven environment.
- Outgoing, social skills.
- 8-10 hours per week; $15 / hour starting rate.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
This is a combination of physical and sedentary work involving travel to four recreation centers on Grounds, working special events where there may be large crowds, and extensive use of desktop computers, cameras, and mobile devices.
