UW Medical Center – Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3) to join our new Oncology unit!
WORK SCHEDULE
- 90% FTE, 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)
- Days
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager
- Assumes staff assignments and preceptor responsibility
- Provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Charge nurse experience, preceptor experience and/or leadership experience
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
- Current or recent Oncology nursing experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate preferred
- ACLS preferred
