WORK SCHEDULE
- 36 or 40 Hours per week
- Evening or Rotating/Variable shifts

- This position functions competently and independently within multiple specialty areas
- Competitive candidates will have certification as scrub technologist and/or six months of experience as an Operating Room Technician in a hospital operating room or childbirth center

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take the lead in the patient care experience by prepping and maintaining our Operating Rooms for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and partners, from our scheduling team to surgeons
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, problem-solving environment while maintaining vigilance of instruments and supplies used during surgical procedures
- Perform scrub role while supporting patient safety a sterile environment
- Support of post-operative tasks, including removal of contaminated instruments, decontamination, sterilization and turnover of the Operating Room
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a Surgical Technologist program AND one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment OR equivalent education/experience.
