Located in north Seattle, the Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Northwest provides a wide range of cardiac services, including early prevention, risk assessment and acute and chronic disease management.
Our services include general cardiology, cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, arrhythmia management and electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure management. We emphasize imaging quality by ensuring our dedicated team of sonographers have time to perform a comprehensive examination — including the use of advanced techniques — on every patient.
The Electrophysiology clinic provides general and specialty electrophysiology care by providing. Our physicians have expertise in the treatment of conditions of arrhythmias, pacemakers, defibrillators, and ablations.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide expert nursing care including care coordination, phone triage, patient and family teaching/education, wound care, and device interrogation and management
Cardiac Rhythm analysis
Monitoring and checking pacemakers and defibrillators
Clinic support
REQUIREMENTS:
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
At least 2 years of telemetry or cardiac related nursing experience
BLS Certification; ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire
