Minimum Qualifications:
Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.
Position Qualifications:
Master's degree in Sport Management or a closely related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the field of teaching, coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment. Must meet the College of Business Policy on Faculty Qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Sport Management. A doctoral degree in Sport Management or a closely-related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Sport Management is a definite plus. Regardless of the degree, it must be coupled with pertinent work experience and continuing professional development and engagement activities to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignment and the candidate must meet the College of Business Policies on Faculty Qualifications for an Instructor position.
