Clean Chalkboards/Whiteboards- cleaning, restocking, Pencil Sharpener- emptying, wiping, clean up as needed. Wall/Doors-unlock as required , dusting, cleaning. Windows-cleaning to a height of 10 feet. Desks and Chairs- dusting, cleaning, straightening. Vents- dusting, cleaning. - (Essential)
- 10% - Care and maintenance of footing; Carpet/Mats- vacuuming, hot-water extraction, spot cleaning, gum removal, restorative care. Resilient Tile - dust mopping, damp mopping, stripping, waxing, spray-buffing, burnishing, spot-cleaning and scrubbing. Wood Floor- dust mopping, spot cleaning, tacking. TERRAZZO- sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping. Concrete - sweeping, spraying, scrubbing. Rubberized- dust mopping, damp mopping and brush scrubbing. - (Essential)
- 20% - Clean stairwells: STAIRWAY — sweeping, cleaning, mopping steps and landings dusting handrails, report damage to supervisor. DOORS/WALLS —leaning, graffiti removal, report damage to supervisor. Keep supplies and equipment organized, report damaged equipment to supervision. Maintain MSDS Manual in custodial closet. Report needed supplies to supervision and prepare custodial cart at the end of the day for the next workday. Clean and service public circulation areas: WATER FOUNTAINS —cleaning, disinfecting. WASTE CONTAINERS -emptying, cleaning, rebagging. FURNITURE — light dusting. TELEPHONES —wiping, disinfecting. Clean laboratories: LAB SINKS —cleaning, but not where biological, chemical or hazardous wastes are present. TELEPHONES —wiping, disinfecting. WASTE CONTAINERS —emptying, cleaning, Relocate furniture as directed by supervisor. Police area around assigned buildings. Respond to emergencies such as water incursion, human accidents, debris cleanup, hurricane, etc. Take recycle toters to curb on designated morning (each week) or as directed by supervisor. Clean light fixtures using a long handled duster up to 10 feet. Complete and submit timesheet as directed by supervisor. Complete “task & frequencies checklist” and submit to supervisor each Friday at day’s end. Follow all SOP’s as outlined by Facilities Development & Operations. Comply with all UWF policy. Clean other areas as assigned by supervision based on operational needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Police area around assigned buildings. - (Essential)
