Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the department's assignments process, including new applicant processing, room changes,occupancy data management, rental charges, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

1. -
Responsible for receiving, processing, assigning and recording allroom assignments and wait-list requests after they have beenplaced in an assignment during the application process.Responsible for the notification and correspondence with studentsabout the terms of their contract including acceptance and cancellation of their assignments. Oversee the enforcement of the Freshman Residency Requirement waiver request process.Process all contract cancellation requests and prepare for Contract Cancellation Review Committee.

Oversee room change process and review rate adjustments.Assist with training of professional and graduate staff in properlyfollowing room change procedure. Assist the Housing Front Officewith all incoming departmental communications including phone and email. Ensure all housing policies, procedures, and deadlines are consistently followed by students and staff. Assist in the development and communication of housing policies, ensuring fairness and compliance with university regulations.

Responsible for the planning and delegating of responsibilities which include transition housing, break closing, and summer housing assignments. Oversee the reconciliation of room assignment and revenue posting. This includes both daily and monthly reconciliations. Collaborate with campus partners in fulfilling housing needs. Prepare and lead trainings for HRL staff on procedures

Prepare educational materials in collaboration with the Office of Financial Aid to assist students in understanding the responsibilities required of them to ensure financial aid is in order and Housing and Residence Life is able to yield potential applicants. Contact and meet current and future students and discuss documents missing which may prevent them from acquiring the proper financial aid to attend UWG resulting in a negative attendance contract for Housing and Residence Life.Review different financial aid processes with students and assist in person with remaining steps needed to finalize aid possibilities.The above duties are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree

Required Experience
2-4 years of administrative experience. Detailed oriented,organized and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentproviding excellent customer service.

Preferred Experience
Previous University experience desired with some data base management experience. Experience utilizing software that affects housing occupancy and student engagement (i.e.StarRez, OrgSync, eRezlife, etc).

Proposed Salary

$19.61 Hourly. Paid on a Bi-Weekly Basis.
