Essential Job Functions
The Resch School of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for two tenure-track positions in Computer Science or Software Engineering, beginning in August 25, 2025. The successful applicant will contribute to a new BS program in Software Engineering and a growing Computer Science program in conjunction with a partnership with Microsoft and an expanding Engineering School. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop curriculum for a Software Engineering BS program, work in a specialized cyber lab, engage students in undergraduate research projects, and be involved in community outreach projects, including STEM outreach activities. Those with teaching experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or machine learning are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Teach a course load of 21 contact hours per academic year with a 3-credit remission in the first academic year.
Primary responsibilities will be in the Computer Science BS and Software Engineering BS Programs.

Conditions of Appointment
The home campus of these positions is Green Bay, and the successful candidate may be required to teach an occasional course at the Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus.
Position is an academic year, tenure-track appointment. Applicants must be considered for tenure and promotion in six years, although tenure decisions may be at any time. Promotion from Assistant to Associate Professor is simultaneous with tenure. Excellence in teaching, sustained scholarly activity, and institutional service required for retention and promotion. Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). Compensation and Benefits
SALARY INFORMATION
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
