Work Schedule : This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM. - Provide interpretation for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients and families.
- Serve as resource to patients, families and staff.
- Perform duties following the guidelines provided by the Registry Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). At UW Health, you will have :

- High School Diploma Required
- Post-high school related coursework / degree Preferred Work Experience
- 1 year interpretation experience Required
- Healthcare interpretation experience Preferred
- Fluency in American Sign Language Licenses & Certifications
- Certified by The Registry Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) as CI or NIC or NAD within 18 months of being hired.
