What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow position at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority?
Work Schedule : 100 % FTE, 40 hours / week.
8 or 10 -hour day shifts scheduled between the hours of 7 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM .
Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department. Be part of something remarkable Help patients live their lives to the fullest. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist - Hand / Upper Extremity to :
- Provide treatment for hand and upper extremity patients of all ages and guide them through individualized rehabilitation programs.
- Efficiently communicate with physician referral sources and other UW Health departments for care coordination and collaboration.
- Work in collaboration with UW Health wellness staff to consider long term healthy living strategies beyond occupational therapy care.
- Work within a large, dynamic rehab team to continually provide exceptional patient and family centered care. Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required
- Credentialed by National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) Required
- Must obtain NPI number prior to starting the fellowship program Required Work Experience
- 1 year of prior relevant experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
