What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Scheduling Representative - Ambulatory Lab position at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority?
Work Schedule : 50% FTE, 20 Hours per week.
Shifts scheduled Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am - 11 : 45am.
This position requires the ability to work one Saturday shift per month, 7 : 30am - 1 : 30pm.
Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic. Pay : Pay starts at $18.40 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. - Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
- Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
- Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner. Education : Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field. Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months of previous experience in an office or customer service environment.
