Per Diem Registered Nurses must commit to work a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours per six (6) week scheduling period as follows : At least twenty-four (24) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours must be weekend shift hours and at least twenty-four (24) hours of the seventy-two (72) hours must be scheduled for the evening or night shift. These hours can be combined to meet the requirements. A minimum of one (1) summer and one (1) winter holiday may be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. - Provide care for critically ill newborns, infants and their families across the continuum of care, from admission to discharge.
- This 26-bed NICU is a model for patient-and family-centered care.
- Provide care for infants requiring the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a wide variety of medical and surgical complexities. Work Experience : Minimum - Six (6) months relevant nursing experience. Preferred - Previous NICU experience and current Level III or IV NICU experience. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin and CPR certification. NRP Certification within 6 months of hire. Preferred - NRP Certification.
