What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Trauma & Life Support ICU position at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority?
90% FTE, evening / night shift with an every other weekend rotation. Holiday rotation required. This position is eligible to receive a $4 / hour evening, $5 / hour night and $4.25 / hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked. You will work at University Hospital located in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an experienced critical care Registered Nurse (RN) to :
- Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for critically ill adult patients.
- Work in a fast-paced ICU providing care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Be part of an academic medical center and be involved in cutting edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.
- Become an expert in using advanced life support therapies including ECMO and continuous dialysis to care for patients.
- Be part of a team that serves as emergency responders throughout the hospital.
Care teams in the Trauma and Life Support ICU were recently presented with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Gold Level Beacon Award -the highest honor a critical care unit can achieve.
