Position Summary
Under general supervision of the Management Department Chair, a person in this position is responsible for teaching undergraduate courses. In addition to prepping for and holding classes [face-to-face], teaching involves maintaining currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment, evaluating students’ work, assessing student outcomes, maintaining appropriate records, and holding office hours. In addition, workload may involve advising students and / or providing other service to the department, college and university. Other duties may be assigned by the Department Chair or Dean.Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability and interest in innovative and high-quality teaching and a willingness to engage in university service. Depending on qualifications and experience, a person in this role may teach courses related to general management, organizational behavior, operations and supply chain management, international management, human resource management, entrepreneurship and / or responsible management (corporate social responsibility). A typical semester includes two preparations with a twelve-hour teaching load and typical class sizes of 30-35 students.

- Applicants must have a master’s degree or advanced doctoral work in a business-related field.
