The Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health seeks an exceptional and visionary academic endocrinologist to assume the role of Division Chief of Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism. While a funded research portfolio is not a prerequisite, a successful candidate must be committed to nurturing and supporting the division’s robust research programs, including key research in diabetes, cancer metabolism, inflammation, and the biology of aging. In addition to overseeing clinical operations and supporting research, you will be a core contributor to our educational mission, sharing your expertise and mentoring learners to shape the next generation of medical professionals.

Qualifications
MD, DO or equivalent
Board Certified in Endocrinology is required. .Candidate is required to have or be eligible for a Wisconsin Medical License.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Candidate must be an acknowledged academic physician with demonstrated excellence in research, education and clinical care.
Must possess a record of scholarly achievements, outstanding leadership skills, professionalism and an ability to develop interdisciplinary, collaborative programs.
Candidates for Professor or Associate Professor rank (tenure-track or Clinical Health Sciences [CHS] track) must meet criteria for appointment at rank per University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the respective track.
