Work Schedule : 100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday, 1 st shift, 8-8 : 30AM start time, 4 : 30-5 : 30PM end time based on location and department need. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay :

  • Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages and ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
  • Complete specimen receiving and processing, load them onto instruments or perform the kit testing, and associated instrument maintenance (temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing, faxing).
  • Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.
  • Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients. At UW Health, you will have :

Education : Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred - Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation.
