Work Schedule : This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position working 8-hour shifts 5 days per week.
Holiday and weekend rotations are not required at this time.
Hours can vary based on departmental needs.
You will work at University Hospital, Meriter, and East Madison Hospital and Rehab in Madison, WI. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - General Nephrology Inpatient
- Partner with 4 other Advance Practice Providers (NPs and PAs) on Nephrology Consult Services.
- Independently care for hospitalized patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.
- Be an active acute care provider, and collaborate with other professionals in formulating plans of care.
- Manage renal replacement therapy, including Hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and peritoneal dialysis. At UW Health, you will have :
