The School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with broad training in education (K-12, Higher Ed, Administrative, Professional Development), research methods, and / or sustainability. The successful candidate will contribute to graduate programs in Master's in Education and Ed.D. in Educational Sustainability.
Faculty are responsible for a 12-credit hour teaching load per semester. This is a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. The position is based at the Stevens Point campus and involves courses primarily taught online, but an in-person presence is required at main campus. In addition to teaching, faculty members serve as advisors / mentors to students and are encouraged to engage in students graduate level research or other scholarly and creative activities. Service responsibilities include committee work at the departmental, college, and university levels as well as participation in professional or community organizations relevant to the candidates expertise. The successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to teaching with an emphasis on promoting the success of graduate students, clear evidence of scholarly work, adherence to the principles of sustainable excellence, and serving as an active member of the university community.
Schedule : 9-month academic year position.
