Required Education:
4 Year Degree
Organizes and administers intercollegiate sport(s). May supervise a staff and/or have budgetary responsibility. May conduct practices, identify and recruit qualified student-athletes, develop competitive schedules, coordinate team travel, and ensure compliance with governing rules and regulations.
Responsible for planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, performance, and administration of the men’s club ice hockey program in the manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the University of Wisconsin-Superior Athletic Department. The position also assists with departmental management duties, as assigned.
This position is currently ineligible for H1-B sponsorship. A qualification for this position includes independent eligibility to work within the United States upon hire date.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
One year of professional coaching at the high school level or above in men’s ice hockey
Valid driver’s license
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution
A minimum of two years collegiate and/or junior hockey coaching experience in men’s ice hockey. Head Coaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in budget management and fundraising initiatives.
Knowledge of collegiate club ice hockey rules and regulations.
