ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position reports to Head Women's Basketball Coach and will assist the head coach with all facets of running a successful Division I program. Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with administration, faculty, staff and student-athletes. Comply with all NCAA, Horizon League, UW System and UW-Green Bay rules and regulations. Display professional sportsmanlike conduct during athletic events.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and supervision of in-season and out-of-season practice sessions; team and individual practices.
- Assist in fundraising for the women's basketball and athletics department; attend fundraising events as requested by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics and/or his/her designee.
- Foster alumni relations and organize all alumni related events.
- Coordinate team and community functions.
- Organize and coordinate community service for the team.
- Assist in scouting of opponents and creation of a game plan for each game
- Coordinate team nutrition, strength and conditioning, and mental health resources.
- Assist with coordination of video recording and editing of practices and games as directed by Head Coach
- Organize and schedule team functions/team calendar.
- Oversee and recruit managers, support staff, and practice players.
- Assist with team travel.
- Assist with the recruitment of student-athletes on campus only
- Develop recruiting materials to provide prospective student-athletes.
- Breakdown of video provided by prospective student-athletes.
- Assist in creating and scheduling content for all social media platforms.
- Facilitate scheduling with the Kress Events Center staff and the Resch Center
- Assist with Adidas/uniform ordering.
- Coordinate film exchange with opponents on Synergy.
- Point of contact for all opposing teams to schedule their practice times, shoot around times, laundry needs, and other support they may need during their time in Green Bay.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree at time of application
- Working knowledge of NCAA and Horizon League rules and regulations
- Able to work cooperatively with others and take direction from supervisor and Director of Athletics and/or his or her designee
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Coaching and/or playing experience at the intercollegiate level of basketball

SPECIAL NOTES:
This position requires significant travel and a varying schedule that includes nights and weekends.
The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs.
Position is a full-time Limited appointment. Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. SALARY INFORMATION
Salary range of $45,000 - $50,000.
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
BENEFIT DETAILS

This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually.
