JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary
The head coach responsibilities range from planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, communication and administering of their program to achieve University and Department objectives to teaching duties within the Department of Athletics. The head coach will exhibit behavior that enhances respect for the student-athletes, the athletics program, the University, and themselves in the conduct of their professional responsibilities. The head coach will be required to direct and control the program in accordance with NCAA, WIAC, and University rules and regulations.
Shift: Full time. Evening, weekend and varied hours will be required to meet the needs of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of coaching, playing or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated strong commitment to athletes as students

This is a limited position, exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act. Limited appointees serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority and are subject to Chapter UWS 15, Wisconsin Administrative Code, Wisconsin Statutes, Sections. 36.17, and UW System UPG #3.
