JOB TITLE : Facility Employee
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION :
Campus Recreation serves students, Faculty and staff, as well as peers to promote a fun and healthy environment.
Campus Recreation connects with the campus community to promote health and wellbeing in all aspects of wellness.
Job location :
Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center
Pay rate or range : 12 / hour
JOB PURPOSE :
Provide a safe and clean environment for Half Acre patrons to recreate. JFNTMP
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide excellent customer service
- Oversee main workout area to ensure safety of all users
- Enforce facility policies
- Routinely clean equipment and various facility spaces
- Assist in providing towel service
- Assist with restocking cleaning supplies
- Check out day-use equipment
- Assist Recreation Staff with daily operational tasks
- Effectively communicate with other Campus Recreation staff
- Other job duties as assigned
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY :
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Education : High School diploma (or GED), current UW student
Experience : No experience required
Other requirements : Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and / or academic year.
