PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  To provide an efficient and exceptional dining experience with first-class customer service

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

• Removes soiled dishes from previous shifts that were leftover
• Prepares/provides drinks according to established procedure
• Helps serve meals
• Fills drink glasses for meal service
• Cleans off counters, picks up dishes and utensils, and cleans tables
• Returns soiled dishes and utensils to kitchen and loads dishwashing machine
• Follows cleaning schedule by checking each day for job assignment in routine cleaning
• Maintains a pleasant attitude towards residents, staff, visitors and co-workers
• Willing to develop self toward better performance and changing work habits as position demands
• Respects resident's rights and complies with Adult Abuse Policy
• Complies with laws regulating Protected Health Information
• Other duties as assigned by Dietary Manager/Head Cook/Administrator

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Have a high school diploma, or equivalent
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills
• Clean background
