Job Summary: The Wayne Health Mobile Units represent the future of healthcare, providing ‘care your way, where you live and work,’ with the long-term goal of improving population health outcomes. The Wayne Health Mobile Units deliver an ever-expanding menu of health care and social services directly to neighborhoods or places of employment. The WMHU Data Analyst will perform multiple functions including collecting, storing, retrieving and presenting data to support the WMHU program. Job Description: Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Understands health care operations and systems Creates and validates WMHU record-keeping processes Pulls and integrates data from various sources (e.g., site data, clinical data, etc.) Responsible for discovering discrepancies and patterns in available healthcare data Responsible for standard and ad-hoc data extracts and reports from multiple data sources Builds models that capture a wide range of health care operations Presents and explains information in an accessible way (e.g., site data, clinical data, etc.) Responsible for data collection and tracking for on-going projects Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for key stakeholders Collaborates with management to implement and evaluate improvements Other duties as assigned Education, Licensure/Certification, and Training Required for the Job: BS/BA in Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field preferred Skills and Abilities Required: 1-2 years’ experience in a Healthcare field preferred Experience as a Healthcare Data Analyst preferred Experience in data analysis and visualization methods Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data management systems Excellent analytical and communication skills Must be able to work effectively with key stakeholders on complex projects Must be able to maintain confidentiality and apply discretion and judgment in discussing confidential information Must be flexible with ability to change direction in response to changing work situations Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word) for data analysis and presentation Ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing Must be organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work effectively on multiple assignments. Safety Requirements: Compliance with Department Health and Safety policies and procedures Working Conditions/Schedules: 40-hour workweek, hours and days (some weekends included) to be determined by the business needs of the department. Additional hours may be required. This is a hybrid position, days/hours in office and remote will vary. Anyone with an approved exemption must have weekly PCR COVID-19 testing on their own time and submit the results every Monday, before arriving at work.
