Description
UT Urgent Care Clinics have provided medical care for acute illnesses and minor injuries to Knoxville, TN and surrounding counties since 2007. UT Urgent Care-Northshore is seeking experienced, well qualified float who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast pace urgent care environment.
A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties but not limited to:
Job Description:
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families during visit, by demonstrating sensitivity to patients’ comfort and privacy.
- Accurately records patient history, complete patient vitals, retrieves basic condition of patient and reports to appropriate practitioner.
- Assists provider with examination, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, such as: applying splints and wound dressings, collecting and record various laboratory tests, administer oral and injectable medication.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Flexible Schedule: 40-hour work week scheduled between 4–10-hour shifts per week, with option for overtime pay (1.5 x hour)
- Shift Differential For Weekend Hours: Up to $2.00 per hour

SALARY DESCRIPTION:
- $17.00/hr - $22.00/hr
- Shift differential up to $2.00 per hour
- Dependent on experience
Requirements
- 10/12 hour shifts, including ability to work weekends (no overnights)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
Education/Experience:
- Requirement of GED or High School Diploma
- Licensed LPN or Completion of Medical Assistant program, registered/certified (RMA/CMA) or 2 years’ experience working in medical office
Salary : $2 - $22
