UT Urgent Care Clinic has provided medical care for acute illnesses and minor injuries to Knoxville, TN and surrounding counties since 2007. UT Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, well-qualified Patient Service Representative (PSR) for our Knoxville locations, who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast pace urgent care environment.
A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties but not limited to:
Job Description:
- Greet patients and assist with patient requests upon arrival to clinic
- Obtain and record demographic, insurance and financial information
- Collect co-pay, co-insurances and past due balances
- Verify insurance eligibility and ability to relay relevant information on payment policies.
- Answer multi-line telephone, relay patient messages to clinical team members

Salary Description:
- $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr (Dependent on experience)
Requirements
Requirements:
- 12-hour/9-hour shifts, including ability to work weekends (no overnights)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
Education/Experience:
- Requirement of GED or High School Diploma
- 1 year experience in healthcare facility (medical office, urgent care, ED) is preferred
