University Physicians' Association is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technician for UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S SPECIALISTS, located at the main UT hospital campus in Knoxville.
Responsibilities:
- Produce diagnostic images for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on obstetrical and gynecology patients.
- Travel to satellite offices within Knoxville area as needed.
- Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal wellbeing, and doppler studies.
- Assist physicians with in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance.
- Explain procedure to patients and address their concerns in a friendly, caring, professional matter.
- Able to work independently.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with providers.
- Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other office policies.
- Team player willing to assist with office workflow and other office duties to ensure appropriate patient care.
- Monitors, records, and communicates as appropriate utilizing electronic medical records system.
- Other duties as needed.

Requirements
- OB/GYN experience preferred.
- RDMS registered.
- Graduate of accredited ultrasound program.
