Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychological assessments to identify students academic and emotional needs
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans and strategies to
support students social-emotional well-being
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive
learning environment for students
- Providing counseling and guidance to students facing academic, behavioral, or
emotional challenges
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to students educational plans
- Monitoring student progress and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Michigan state certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
