Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Conducting assessments to identify students in need of support and intervention
- Developing and implementing intervention plans to promote students well-being and academic success
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students social-emotional development
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students goals and accommodations
- Connecting students and families with community resources and support services as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
