Role Description
This is a contract role for an MRI Technologist, based on-site in Knoxville, TN at an outpatient orthopedic facility. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensuring the proper positioning of patients, and adhering to safety protocols. Daily tasks include preparing patients for MRI exams, maintaining equipment, reviewing images for quality and clarity, and collaborating with radiologists to interpret results. Upon completion of the contract, the technologist will have the opportunity to transition into a per diem position.
Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Skills in Radiologic Technology, Medicine, and Radiology
- Experience in Medical Imaging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in MRI technology is a plus
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
